HOLLYWOOD’S BATTLE FOR SURVIVAL

A new BBC article discusses the failure of the Hollywood industry to recover from the writers’ and actors’ strikes and the slump affecting the streaming companies following the Wall Street crash.

Given the existing situation here in the UK with the decline in advertising revenue, and since so much Hollywood is shot here in the UK, the situation across the Atlantic has also had a massive impact on UK facilities and crew—a double whammy.
