Bazza’s Bazaar or BB Equipment List as it was known back in the day is 30 years old!

November 1993 was when Bazza sent out that first list of surplus kit… A single sheet of A4 shared on-set and on location here in Wales and handed around by fellow crew members.

After some considerable arm twisting by friends and colleagues Bazza produced the second issue in February 1995.

A few months later I had the pleasure of working with Bazza as his boom op on the S4C serial drama Pengelli which was shot on location in North Wales. We became firm friends, the rest is history.

Sadly we don’t have any copies of that very first November 1993 issue – please get in touch if you have kept a copy!

There are some familiar pieces of kit on there, some are a dim memory lost in the mist of time. By the way, ECM77 and Tram lapel microphones are both still very much in demand today!
