Well that’s been a fun few days…
We had someone sign up and try to carry off a scam.
It is hard to know what a scammer would hope to achieve on BB List, our BB List Payment Protection Service once again proves that it is too robust.
They have finally gone, after 5 days they closed their account and left, once they realised they couldn’t go any further without depositing funds for their purchases.
The worst part was not being able to tell sellers our suspicions – it was a bit of a waste of time for those who were drawn into it. GDPR and Data Protection means we can’t tell you guys what we suspect – we could be wrong and the actor could have been genuine! LOL
Two sellers had worked out what was going on and asked if the person was genuine, we were able to share our suspicions without saying too much.
So, the good news. We have sold some of the items to other people… no data was breached. The scammer didn’t get any personal details and everyone’s kit is safe. The only downside is a waste of people’s time, mostly ours!
Other than the above, it has been a fairly busy week, the most significant being an upgrade to our internet connection, or downgrade would be more apt, thanks to BT we now have a 2Mbps broadband… feels very 2004 not 2024!
Friends have been taking screenshots of their 1Gbps download speeds and sending them to me… thank you guys!! Hahaha
Enough BS from me.
Plenty to look at in this week’s BB List, find New Listings (click) here and Reduced Listings (click) here.
Enjoy this week’s BB List!
