Ahoy! We love hearing from our customers the reasons why they buy and sell used gear.

Some tell us that they buy second hand kit for a job when extra kit is needed and sell it on when that job ends… For example when more radio mics are needed for a particular shoot.

They go on to explain that in this era of shrinking budgets they can buy a set of second hand radio mics and re-sell at almost the same price that they bought them, allowing them to pocket almost all of the rental fees charged to the production rather than spending it all. It allows them to have great kit at their disposable for the shoot and make a tidy profit at the same time.
