Ahoy! We are smack bang in the middle of stop-fortnight here in the UK (or Miners’ Fortnight as we call it here in Wales).

As a result, things were very quiet here last week, which was great. I’ve been very fortunate to be able to spend all my evenings down at the local beach chilling out. It has been great to spend more time at my happy place, Aberafan beach here in South Wales.

It is still surprisingly busy on the website… we are still seeing more people than usual browsing and searching the website for used kit.

We have one more week of holidays left before the filming silly season starts here in the UK. Traditionally, this is the busiest time of the year for kit sales.

Location gear will be in big demand over the next few weeks; Tripods, Lenses, Cameras, Zoom Demands, Radio Mics, Mixers, Boom Poles, Microphones, Lapel Mics, Filters, Matte Boxes, Flags, Gimbals, Arms/Jibs… everything and anything used on location will be sought after.

Use what little downtime that’s left to make those for-sale listings you have been putting off… just don’t do it today as I am off back to the beach this evening for some more quality time and hopefully another gorgeous sunset. LOL
