November and December are always a slightly unusual time of year — people tend to hold off on buying kit as the festive season approaches and priorities shift elsewhere.

That said, December is often when we see a little flurry of self-treats: a handy gadget, a useful tool… Salvit cloths, a Leatherman, a DOF calculator, filters — all those small but popular bits and pieces. I even sold a headphone-out cable for an Audio Ltd RX I’d never used just last week.

This year, though, those kinds of items are a bit thinner on the ground. So if you’ve got any gadgets that deserve a new home, it’s not too late to clear some space in your drawers and make a bit of extra cash.
